Welfare Association Jared (WAJ) has been designated by NDMA, Government of Pakistan, as the District Humanitarian Coordination Focal Organization for Mansehra. WAJ will facilitate coordination among government, UN agencies, NGOs, and humanitarian partners to strengthen disaster preparedness, information sharing, joint planning, and timely emergency response, particularly during the 2026 monsoon season.

The training, organized by Welfare Association Jared (WAJ) under the SAFE Media Project, equipped 12 PIOs from various government departments with vital knowledge on the KP RTI Act 2013, focusing on information categorization, handling RTI requests, and the 10-day response procedure.
